Infinite Reverie’s number 1 priority is helping you, the writer, the author, go from Creation to Publication. To better serve you, we have revamped all of our services.
We are so excited to share these new and improved service packages with you. Our goal when creating these packages for you was to create multiple services to give you the opportunity to bring your manuscript to the next stage in your process of bringing your story into the world, while keeping various budget points in mind.
Who these services are for?
As a writer myself, I know how hard it can be to take an objective look at your own manuscript. How difficult it can be to see holes and issues that could confuse readers, because we already know what is going on. We know who are characters are.
Our purpose is to provide feedback that you can then use to make your manuscript better, with positive feedback, questions, suggestions, and feedback on areas that might not be so good. We will not, ever, intentionally rip your heart out when providing feedback. We know how important our stories are to us, and we could never hurt you. A lot of our clients are giving us the opportunity to be the first one to ever see anything they’ve written. We are sensitive to their needs, and follow the same guidelines we’ve set for ourselves when providing feedback to those first timers, for everyone.
Our services were created primarily for authors that plan to self or independently publish, or publish with a small publisher. For authors that won’t be seeing an advance, or get help from a publisher for editing services. These professional services can be very costly, and for good reason. There is a lot of time and hard work that goes into bringing a story to market.
Although we are not providing any editing or proofreading services, the feedback we provide is written in a way that would allow you to perform your own edits. All of our feedback is aimed directly at being constructive and aid in forward movement with your manuscript.
Fiction genres we can provide these services for include:
- Science Fiction
- Historical Fiction
- Mythological/Legend/Fairytale and similar
- Subgenres and cross genres of any of the above
We may be able to provide services on other genres. The genres we would find it difficult to work on fall within the romance, erotica, and anything that is love story heavy.
Young Adult manuscripts also qualify if they fall within the above listed genres. Middle Grade manuscripts may be a fit, if interested, let us know a bit about your story on the inquiry form and together we can determine if we are a good fit or not.
We also provide these services for non-fiction manuscripts. Please provide a basic summary of the content of your non-fiction manuscript or document on the inquiry form.
In general, we do not mind manuscripts with disturbing or potentially offensive content, swear words, gross or gruesome descriptions, and so on. To date, we have yet to turn away a manuscript due to offensive content or ideas.
After you inquire, we will discuss more about your manuscript and what we can do for you. If after learning more about your manuscript, we determine we might not be the best at providing feedback, we will let you know right away.

Our most in-depth, comprehensive review of your manuscript. Each manuscript is given two full read throughs. Feedback is provided from both a reader and a professional perspective.
The Mid-Service Critique is given using two separate read throughs to provide feedback. While still in-depth, the Mid-Service is more limited in overall scope of the review, in comparison to the Full-Service Critique.
The Basic Feedback Service receives one solid read through. While reading the manuscript, areas that may need or benefit from another pass are marked. Feedback is provided on premade forms, similar to a question and comment outline. No notes or comments are made on the manuscript.
If you’re looking at your draft and wondering, “Does it work?” “Is it viable?” Has it lost its way?” The First Draft Review may be for you. Your manuscript does not have be in its first draft form to fit the service, but it can be. The goal of this review is to identify strengths and weaknesses within the draft.
What if you don’t have a fully completed draft? The Partial Critique Service is here for those situations where maybe just a chapter, the beginning or ending, a character, or a section could use a review.
Still not sure which service is what you need?
If you’re not quite sure which service you need or which one your manuscript would benefit best from, just check the Undecided box on the inquiry form. Just answer a few questions as best you can and together we can find the best fit for you and your manuscript.
All estimated timelines are only an approximate timeframe used to give you an idea of about how long your manuscript will be in progress. Once we arrive at the contract stage, a final delivery date will be provided to you.
All services are eligible for a RUSH. There is an additional fee to have your service rushed, and the fee is dependent on various factors. If you are interested in a rush, just check the RUSH box on the inquiry form and more information will be sent to you.
We do provide a Sample-the-Service option to better help you decide if we are a good fit. If interested, just let us know when you inquire.
We do not proofread, correct spelling, word usage, or grammar issues. If requested, we will provide basic feedback as the condition or level the manuscript may need.
We don’t give word for word, “rewrite” suggestions. We won’t attempt to tell you what you should write.
We do not fact-check information. If something does seem unrealistic, or for some reason, causes us to question something, we will let you know, but we will not search or attempt to find the correct information.
